22nd November 2014: Addition of DuraWrap canvas mounted fine art prints to the product line
I am very please to announce that I am in the midst of launching a new product line on the website. A number of fine art mountain prints have already been mounted using this new fabulous technique from those talented DuraPlaq folks in Colorado. Fine art images on canvas are now available from the web site mounted using DuraWrap.
DuraWrap Mounted Prints:
Like gallery wraps but hate the sagging front face, you'll love the DuraWrap! Available in smooth satin finish. Partnering the look and feel of a traditional canvas wrap and the durability of the DuraPlaq product line, Durawraps are notably the best canvas product on the market according to DuraPlaq customer testimonials. DuraWraps eliminate typical canvas disadvantages including wrinkles or sagging on the front face, unsightly folds in the canvas on the corners, and visible lines from the stretcher bars all of which distract from the overall presentation. A DuraPlaq canvas print is mounted in a fully acid-free manner to a rigid, lightweight substrate and finished with a hollow black backing and wire hanger to keep the DuraWrap lightweight. Taking advantage of the super smooth satin option, a high clarity DuraPlaq print is produced. Each Durawrap is protected with an acid free, fine art protective coating to give it moisture resistance and UV protection. A mirrored image is used for the side edges. Wire hanger is provided as the standard hanging system for this product, DuraWrap product comes ready to hang, complete with appropriate hanging hardware suitable to most traditional wall installations.
This is truly a revolutionary product and is a great economic way to collect my larger fine art mountain prints!

Tickets booked, dates in iPhone so I won't forget (!!) and I will be off to meet up with Jim Ruch at 'Boulder Camp' for a few days of fun in the Mountains, and a cook out on 28th to celebrate his 60th B'day!
Currently planning to climb some snow gullies up in the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area (subject to hangovers of course!).
Plans for SkyWalker Couloir (45 deg moderate snow climb with a crux at the top) and Juliet Couloir (Mount Neva, 2,700 ft height gain, 40 - 45 deg climb on mixed snow/rock) are on the tick list. Does not look like there is enough snow to ski down (or skill on my part!).
Time to take the ice tools for a little walk!
